Tour Itinerary:

Very exciting adventure will kick off at Meeting point in Antigua at 09 am by a driver to pick you up to transfer at Hike station, (Jocotenango village a mother has cooked a feeds) point to be delivered your foods, water, gloves, caps, Cold Jacket, here you where rent a backpacks, flashlights, even tour details is given, then rige by shared transport to La Soledad village which Local Spanish guides meet you to instruct steps by step how the hike will be run. Once you are gotten all intructions of the Local guide, you hike up (really though) for 5 hours to arrive at the base camping, on the trails there will be several stops for rest, hydration and foods .

Day 01:

  • 9 a.m. Pick you up at Antigua Meeting Point
  • 9.30 am Departure from La Antigua Guatemala
  • Equipment verification and meal delivery at Station hike
  • 10:30 a.m. Arrival at La Soledad village
  • 11 am start of the Hike
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 4 p. m. Arrival at a camp
  • 7 p.m. m. Dinner

 

There is an option to hike the volcano of FUEGO VOLCANO at first day with an extra tough trek of 03 hours round trip, Hikers who wish to do must to confirm with local guide directly, The extra price to hike is Q200 per person.

Day 2:

  • 4 am Start of ascent to the summit of Acatenango
  • 5.45 am Arrival at the summit of Acatenango
  • Sunrise view on the summit

  • 7:30 a.m. Breakfast at camp
  • Team check list of hikers
  • 8:30 a.m. Start of the descent
  • 11:30 Arrival at La Soledad Village
  • 12:30 Arrival in Antigua Guatemala

Includes:

  • Three regular or vegetarian meals
  • Bed mattress and zero-degree sleeping bag

  • Shared cabins (maximum 12 people) The camping equipment it is already at the Base.

  • Extra meals or drinks that are not in the detail of the menu

Extra Thing Should Bring:

  • jacket for the cold, scarf or buff, Two pairs of socks or stockings
  • Rain cover according to the season of the year
  • chocolate, Nuts, Sweets, Extra snacks, extra food An energy drink or coke if possible
  • Two liters of pure water per person (minimum)
  • Sunscreen, Sun hat, Toilet paper, Gel alcohol,
  • fruit with potassium
  • An extra change of clothes
  • Backpack of 40 liters minimum (we rent)
